The 1” PTFE-lined stainless steel uniball that can be found in ICON upper control arms is a high-quality component, but its location on the vehicle leaves it vulnerable to all of the elements you may drive through including dirt, water, sand, road salts, etc. Always looking to make good things even better, ICON engineers took the uniball cap concept featured in our Billet Upper Control Arms and arrived at the easy-to-install and affordable solution that is the ICON Uniball Cover Cap Kit. These 6061 billet aluminum caps were designed exclusively for ICON tubular upper control arms and feature extremely durable 3M™ neoprene adhesive rings that attach them to the uniball cup. While our caps don’t make our arms invincible to normal wear, they do a great job of extending the service life of the uniball by keeping the elements out that are usually attributed to premature PTFE-liner failure. The kit includes one pair of caps and two pairs of adhesive rings so that uniballs may be serviced regularly. Whether you are an avid off-roader looking to keep your vehicle in top working order, or you just want to increase the cosmetics of your inner fender well, this is the perfect add-on for you.

Unlike traditional "add-a-leafs" that obtain lift height at the cost of stiffening spring rate and sacrificing ride quality. This new approach, full length Toyota Tundra leaf spring expansion pack, replaces all the factory secondary leafs while retaining the factory main and overload springs. This allows us to modify the spring rate to increase ride comfort, obtain lift height, maintain load and towing capacities, and increase wheel travel. By retaining the factory main leaf, installation is a snap.

ICON Vehicle Dynamics has developed a tubular uniball upper control arm system for the 2005+ Toyota Tacoma 2wd & 4wd trucks. Weak OEM ball joints present problems by limiting suspension travel, especially when using our 2.5” VS Series performance coil-over shocks. Using 1” PTFE Lined Uniballs combined with our 17-4 Stainless Taper Pin Adapters increases the upper arms misalignment, allowing for smooth and clean wheel travel without worrying about factory ball joint bind. The Toyota Tacoma Trucks have so much to gain when you look at the over all wheel travel and performance that is unused by the manufacturer. Installing a set of ICON Tubular Uniball Upper Control arms and our Vehicle Specific 2.5" Extended Travel Coil Over Shocks is what it takes to obtain the full potential Toyota Tacoma suspension has to offer.

To take advantage of the additional travel that the RXT Rear Suspension System offers, ICON engineers had to scrap the OE leaf springs and develop a replacement that addressed issues found in the R&D process. The result is a user-adjustable multi-rate leaf pack that offers a major performance gain for almost every Tundra setup imaginable. Features like tip inserts and leaf separators reduce friction and increase ride comfort, while a military wrapped front eyelet improves the durability and strength of the leaf spring. To increase the ride quality of the truck and gain additional droop travel, the spring rate has been lowered slightly. While many Tundra owners will embrace this, there are those who have outfitted their trucks with a significant amount of weight in the form of a bed rack, roof top tent, spare tires and parts or other additions. Understanding this, the leaf pack was designed with an additional leaf (included with kit) that can be exchanged or added to the pack yielding an additional 15% or 25% in spring rate that will handle more "outfitted" vehicles.
